Lesson Policies
At Music Bloom, we believe that consistency and dedication are the keys to success in music education. Our lesson policies are designed to support a positive learning experience for both students and instructors. We encourage open communication and collaboration to help students reach their musical goals while maintaining a structured and professional learning environment.
Scheduling and Attendance

- Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shorter lesson without a refund or reschedule.
- Missed Lessons: Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. Makeup lessons may be arranged based on instructor availability. Missed lessons without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Instructor Cancellations: If an instructor needs to cancel, a makeup lesson or credit will be provided.

Quarterly Lesson Schedule
At Music Bloom, we operate on a 12-week quarter system to provide consistent and high-quality music education. Here’s how it works:
- Lesson Distribution:
- Each quarter consists of 12 lessons spread over 3 months.
- Depending on the calendar, a student may have 3 lessons in one month, 4 lessons in another, and 5 lessons in the third month. This variation ensures flexibility while guaranteeing the total of 12 lessons.
- Tuition Consistency:
- Tuition is evenly divided across the 3 months of the quarter, regardless of the number of
lessons in a given month. For example:
- If a student has 3 lessons in Month 1 and 5 lessons in Month 2, the tuition amount remains the same for both months.
- This structure simplifies budgeting for families and ensures a smooth administrative process.
- Tuition is evenly divided across the 3 months of the quarter, regardless of the number of
lessons in a given month. For example:
-
Quarterly Breaks:
- After the completion of each 12-week quarter, we take a 1-week break before beginning the next quarter. This allows students and instructors to recharge and prepare for the next session.
-
Example Calendar:
- Quarter 1: January 1 - March 24 (12 weeks of lessons)
- Break Week: March 25 - March 31
- Quarter 2: April 1 - June 23
By structuring lessons and tuition in this way, we ensure consistency, flexibility, and a balanced experience for all students. Let us know if you have any questions or need further clarification!
